History

At Wimbish Primary School, we want our children to develop a deep and curious interest in the past and to be able to critically engage with subject content.

As Historians, children will develop cultural capital, an understanding of their world and an understanding of significant individuals who have made notable contributions to shaping history. Children will have a well-rounded knowledge and understanding of periods that have passed.

We want children to have the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills through rich learning experiences in the classroom and through fieldwork and educational visits.
