School Council

Each year we elect Y6 House Captains. They support our School Council and are also each responsible for one of our house teams.

Our School Council representatives are elected in September and then we have another round of elections in February. The children elect the councillors after hearing their speeches.

The School Council will work with a member of the Leadership Team to make changes and improvements to school. They will also organise charitable events and hold Team Assemblies to hear the views of everyone in school.

Our Y6 children also hold additional roles and responsibilities such as librarians, monitors, mini play leaders and litter pickers.
