School Apple Houses

When children join Wimbish Primary Academy they will be put into a “house”.  Our houses are named after apples in recognition of our amazing orchard on the school field.  Siblings will be put into the same house and each house will have two house captains. 

Pupils will be given house points for outstanding work, uniform and exemplary citizenship beyond the classroom. A record of these will be kept in each class and bought to the celebration assembly each week to add to the weekly total.

Collaboration events throughout the year will contribute to the total as well as encouraging teamwork and healthy competition.
