Autumn term at Wimbish Primary

Oak Class have been exploring their outside space and making sand angels in the new sand pit that was built over the summer, making dens using materials and demonstrating creative team work!

This term Willow Class started their new text in English, The Train Ride. To start this off they had to think about what they would need to go on a train journey. The list the children made was very comprehensive and included tickets, money, cameras, a map, a bag and of course snacks! Luckily, Mrs Pickford had thought ahead that snacks may come up and as part of the preparation for the train ride they then went on, she had bought bread and jam to make sandwiches. We discovered spreading jam with a knife and cutting our bread was a little bit tricky!

After preparing for our train journey, we boarded our train to London. The children absolutely loved the experience session which set them up for some super writing as the term progresses around what they would see when on their journey.
