Walton On The Naze Whole School Beach Trip

Recently we had our exciting beach trip. The children were beside themselves with excitement when they saw the sea and so many of them couldn’t wait to get in and start paddling as soon as we had got down to the beachfront.

The children had a fantastic time in the sea and loved jumping waves and splashing. Highlights included using found objects on the beach and transforming them into toys; games of beach cricket with Mr Howard; building sandcastles, forts and sand igloos!

The children also particularly enjoyed their opportunity to have an ice cream and we saw lots of sticky, smiling faces! After lunch, there was another chance to play on the beach and complete a beach scavenger hunt. There were some very happy but tired children on the way home (some slept the whole way back!) It was a fantastic day – “the best day ever” according to the children!
