Remembrance activities and assembly

We were delighted to welcome many of our families in to join us for our Remembrance activities and assembly this week.

The pupils completed a range of art activities relating to poppies through the morning to help create a lasting piece of artwork for our school. The pupils and visitors then joined together for the Remembrance assembly followed by a 2 minute silence. We then placed the coins we had brought in to donate on our giant poppy.

We were thrilled with how much money we collected through the poppy sale earlier in the week. We have combined the donations from the giant poppy and this money and it has now been collected by the Royal British Legion.
