A warm welcome from Anglian Learning
As we have settled into the new term CEO of Anglian Learning, Jonathan Culpin, wishes to further introduce the Trust and how its values and vision support Wimbish Primary Academy.
“We are thrilled to have Wimbish Primary Academy join us. As some of you may already be aware, Wimbish is positioned closely to Joyce Frankland Academy Newport, a secondary school and sixth form also part of Anglian Learning’s community. By being a part of the Trust, we are pleased to offer pupils the opportunity for curriculum continuity.
Our vision for Anglian Learning is for our enable our pupils to be dynamic and empowered learners – who thrive and lead in their communities: locally, nationally and globally. This is achieved through our four core values of Aspiration, Community, Empowerment and Inclusivity. Ultimately, we recognise that we are stronger together and aim to provide our staff, pupils and parents/carers with a positive learning experience.
For us, excellence is simply not defined by Ofsted grades and league table positions; and that education can play a truly transformational role in the lives of children and contribute to the success and wellbeing of a wider society.
With the continued investments into infrastructure and staff, I look forward to hearing of the successes of our pupils at Wimbish in the weeks, months and years to come, and for those parents considering Wimbish for their child, please do contact the school for a visit to get a real feel of the school and its community.”
