Oak Class Make Pancakes

Well done Oak Class for filling your jar with 25 stars which meant they had their big treat. The pupils had requested a pancake party, in fact it became a bit of a pancake day (a little early, don’t forget next Tuesday).

They explored how Pancake day is celebrated around the world and why we celebrate pancake day. They briefly spoke about the beginning of Lent and will be looking at this in more detail after half term.

Some children independently took on the task of writing a pancake shopping list, my favourite list included the ingredients of joy and love (thanks Minnie!)

The pupils have all had a go at making pancake batter, pancake tossing and pancake racing…. And obviously they ate the pancakes!
