Pantomime Trip – Sleeping Beauty

This week we were treated to the most amazing performance of Sleeping Beauty at The Cambridge Arts Theatre. From the costumes to the stage design, to the acting, singing and dancing, we just didn’t know where to look first. The storyline was magical and the children literally all shouted, danced and laughed their way through the 2 hour performance. The adults spent a lot of the time not watching the stage, but instead watching the faces of the children. The awe and wonder and pure delight on their faces made all of the work we have undertaken to raise the money to go so worth while.

By the time we had our lunch at the theatre and walked back to meet the coach, the children were absolutely exhausted. The bus journey home was far quieter than it had been on the way there with us having to wake up many children on our arrival back at school.

A huge thank you to everyone who made contributions to the trip through chocolate donations for our tombola and financial contributions. We cannot thank you enough for helping us to create this experience which I am sure will provide memories for a long time.
